Help Us Expand Hitster Support!

Why We Need Your Help

Each Hitster edition has unique QR codes and song selections. To add support for a new edition, we need to understand the code format and build our song database. This is where you come in! With just a small sample of cards, we can decode the pattern and add full support for your edition.

What We Need From You

To add support for your Hitster edition, we kindly ask you to send us:

• 5 Hitster cards from your edition
• Photos of both sides (front and back) of each card
• Clear, well-lit images so we can read the QR codes
• Let us know which edition name (e.g., "Hitster Deutschland Rock", "Hitster USA", etc.)

That's it! With these 5 cards, we can typically figure out the pattern and add support for the entire edition.

How to Share Your Cards

1. Take Clear Photos
   Take photos of the front and back of 5 different cards from your Hitster edition. Make sure the QR code is clearly visible and the lighting is good.
2. Note the Edition Name
   Tell us which Hitster edition you have (check the box or card pack name).
3. Send via Email
   Email the photos to us at hitster4music@christianranz.com with the subject line "New Hitster Edition Request"
4. Wait for Updates
   We'll review your submission and work on adding support. We'll notify you when your edition is ready!

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your cards:

• We'll analyze the QR code structure and song data
• Build the song database for your edition
• Test the implementation thoroughly
• Deploy the update and notify you
• Add your edition to our supported list on the About page

Typically, this process takes 1-2 weeks depending on the complexity of the edition and our current workload.

Privacy & Your Cards

Your privacy matters to us:

• We only use the card images to build our database
• Images are not shared publicly or with third parties
• We only store the technical data needed for the app to function
• You can request deletion of your submitted data at any time

Prefer email? You can also reach us at hitster4music@christianranz.com. Please include the Hitster edition, the card number, and the link it currently leads to (you can copy this from the scan result) — and, if you know it, what song it should lead to.
